We love hearing from our listeners, and we’ve received all sorts of questions about our show. To save your time (and ours), we’ve compiled a few of our most commonly asked questions.
If your question isn’t listed here, please feel free to send it our way via the contact form.
“Geek Culture” is a broad subject. Is there any specific content that you will focus on?
We are a diverse group that brings a lot to the table in different areas. Therefore, you can expect a balance of whatever falls within the umbrella of geek culture. Many of our backgrounds stem from videogames, so you can at least expect a lot of those references.
How do you pick what media you cover?
We choose based on whatever is relevant, current, or sparks our curiosity. Our individual skill sets and knowledge contributes to topic selection.
Can we request episode topics?
Absolutely! While it does not necessarily mean we will cover the topic, we are always open to ideas. It may be some time before we can cover it depending on our schedule.
Are any topics off-limits?
We will not discuss discriminatory content. Our definition of such media includes anything that discriminates based on gender identity, sexual orientation, race, religion, age, disability, etc.
That said, we may make an exception if we feel that our conversation can positively contribute to matters of empathy, diversity, and tolerance.
Will you be doing any live content? If so, how and when can we interact with the show?
Yes. Our Twitch channel will be up at the beginning of July, and a schedule will follow. While our podcast shows are bi-monthly, our Twitch content will be a great way to satiate your lack of Flavor. You can also follow us on social media for schedule updates and announcements.
Will you let us know what episodes are coming up? Where can I find a schedule?
